| HOW CAN I GET TO LONG ISLAND CITY? Midtown Manhattan is within a five-ten minute subway ride, and Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn are within a twenty-thirty minute ride from the district. Newark and Jersey City, New Jersey, and Stamford and Greenwich, Connecticut are within a forty-five minute to one hour subway and commuter rail ride. All major area transit terminus (Grand Central, PATH, Penn Station, and Port Authority for commuter and long-distance bus lines) are within between five and twenty minutes from the district. The district is also located within twenty to twenty-five minutes of Queens-based John F. Kennedy and LaGuardia Airports.
