INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF SHOPPING CENTERS (ICSC) was founded in 1957, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is the global trade association of the shopping center industry. Its 70,000 members in the U.S., Canada and more than 80 other countries include shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors, lenders, retailers and other professionals as well as academics and public officials. The principal aims of ICSC are to advance the development of the shopping center industry and to establish the individual shopping center as a major institution in the community .

INSTITUTE OF REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT (IREM) was founded in 1934 and since then has been the source for education, resources, information and membership for real estate management professionals. With 80 U.S. chapters, eight international chapters and several other partnerships around the globe, IREM’s membership includes more than 18,000 individual members and 500 corporate members. Collectively, IREM CPM Members in the United States manage over $1.5 trillion in real estate assets, including 8.4 million residential units and 8.4 billion net square feet of commercial space.

URBAN LAND INSTITUTE (ULI) was established in 1940 and is today the premiere land use organization in the United States. Membership consists of more than 14,000 professionals (from 50 states and 52 countries) working in various fields related to real estate and land use. ULI sponsors educational programs, initiates research projects, tracks land use trends, provides advisory services and disseminates valuable information on land use and development.

LONG ISLAND CITY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (LICBDC) was founded in 1979 and is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) local development corporation. LICBDC works to improve the climate for business in greater Long Island City, by assisting individual businesses, and advocating for economic development that benefits Long Island City’s industrial, commercial, cultural and residential sectors.

REAL ESTATE BOARD OF NEW YORK (REBNY) was begun in 1896 as the first real estate trade association in the state. REBNY works on behalf of its members to promote public and industry policies and frequently speaks before government bodies to, among other things, expand New York’s economy, encourage the development and renovation of commercial and residential real property, enhance the city’s appeal to investors and residents, and facilitate property management. The Board’s ranks consist of 12,000 owners, builders, brokers, managers, banks, insurance companies, pension funds, real estate investment trusts, utilities, attorneys, architects, marketing professionals, and many other individuals and institutions involved in New York realty.

BOMA INTERNATIONAL was founded in 1907 as the National Association of Building Owners and Managers. Today, BOMA International represents 92 local associations throughout the United States and 13 affiliates around the world. BOMA's 16,500-plus members own or manage more than nine billion square feet of commercial properties in North America. BOMA International is a primary source of information on office building development, leasing, building operating costs, energy consumption patterns, local and national building codes, legislation, occupancy statistics and technological developments.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization with a vision of a sustainable built environment within a generation. Its membership includes corporations, builders, universities, government agencies, and other nonprofit organizations. USGBC is dedicated to expanding green building practices and education, and its LEED© (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating SystemTM.

NASSAU COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF ASSESSMENT -- LAND RECORDS VIEWER: provides a single, easy to use, point of access to almost all information maintained by the Assessor including assessment roll data, district information, tax maps, property photographs, past taxes, tax rates, and exemptions with amounts and comparable sales. It is also linked to the County's Geographic Information System (GIS) to provide relevant information from that system. This viewer contains a set of property maps of every parcel within the County of Nassau.
